Haul #1 Sandvika Storsenter

Welcome back to a follow up post from my day trip to Bærum. I’m still in the process of figuring out what I want to post on this blog. In the meantime I’m dishing out whatever I enjoy putting together.

In Bærum there is a large shopping mall, Sandvika Storsenter, that we usually drop by when visiting my mom. There are a few stores there that aren’t located in our hometown of Skien, so we try to stock up on those goodies when we have the chance.

I would love to hear if there are any special shops you just have to visit when out of town?  If you have any comments and/or questions please post, I would love to hear from you?

Personally I can’t handle the taste of wine, so what I save on not buying wine I make up in buying amazing olive oils. I didn't know that olive oils could taste this delish. I would defiantly recommend trying out one of these babies. They do have a online store, but nothing beats going to the actual store and having a taste to find your favorite.

Palais Des Thés

A new one for us! I have had some problems with finding tea that doesn’t upset my stomach. So I thought that a place that only sells tea would be just the place to get some recommendations. They gave me some great pointers and I’m now LOVING the new tea. 

MAC

Also a new one for me. 

I have been on the look out for some new makeup and that gave me the excuse to try out some MAC makeup.

I’m a stickler when it comes to costumer service, especially in stores where I know that a large part of the price is based on branding. The sales associate in the MAC store in Sandvika was down right intimidating and patronizing, that’s how I interpreted her body language. I left the store feeling like a total idiot and that I was a hassle. I’m trying my hardest to not let that one encounter effect my impressions of the actual products, but it’s not easy. 

 ADAX / Handy Size 

I’ve been looking for a new every day purse, now that my old one fell apart.
I try my hardest not being wasteful, so I try to buy the best quality that I can afford at any given time. I wanted a small, easy to access neutral purse. I hade been eyeing an Adax bag for a while but felt the price was a bit steep. But luckily Handy size hade a 30% of on purses, if you signed to their newsletter. I jumped at the chance and got this beauty.
Why I buy and use leather; as long as I still eat meat I’ll be buying leather. I think that when a animal is killed for the sake of food the whole animal should be utilized. That is just my opinion and I totally understand that other people may not agree.
